What’s my role in this project?

“I said to my manager unless my role in this project is sorted out by the end of the week then I will simply leave. ”

This brought an audible intake of breath from those on the project management course. The manager sorted this out pretty smartly but what a shame it took someone to issue an ultimatum to ensure clarity was reached. And yes, she did say she would have left the company!

All she wanted was a clear statement from someone saying what her rolewas in the project.

So, this weeks BIG question: Do you clearly identify project roles AND how well are these managed through the life of the project?
